- start with a clean surface
2. find location to apply paint mask
3. peel backing paper off and smooth down paint mask making sure all edges are down
4. peel off top transfer tape
5. check paint mask to make sure all edges are down and ready
6. apply other near by paint masks
7. mask off surrounding area
8. start with a light coat of paint. Gradually build up in light coats instead of heavy coats
9. remove surrounding mask and wait for paint to dry
10. once paint is dry remove paint mask and enjoy you new markings
